Out Loud Hudson Valley was started by two New York City nightlife fixtures, Jimmy Prada and Davide Gregorio.  The two Hudson Valley natives lived in New York City, where they worked parallel careers in New York nightlife.  Despite living and working in the scene together, their paths didn’t cross until 2021, when both moved back to the Hudson Valley following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jimmy worked as a resident DJ and event producer at several legendary bars and nightclubs, including The Ritz, Rise Bar, The Stonewall Inn, Pearl Lounge, XL Nightclub, and many others. Other notable achievements included being hired by Perfumania to DJ the launch party for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s self-named perfume, and a multi-year partnership with the iconic Empire Hotel for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  

In 2010, a collaboration with restaurateur Khris Malta, led to the creation of New York City’s first, and longest-running weekly Drag Brunch production.  Often immitated, but never duplicated, Electro Brunch at Intermezzo ran for nine years, and featured weekly hosts Bianca Del Rio (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6) and the late Princess Janae Banks. 

In September 2013, after a hard-fought battle with lymphoma cancer, Princess Janae sadly passed away. At that time, Tina Burner(RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13) was named as Princess Janae’s weekly replacement.  Over the years, Electro Brunch became known as a destination to discover up-and-coming drag talent, as now-notable stars like Peppermint, Monet X Change, Bob The Drag Queen, Miz Cracker, Shequida and Sherry Vine, would often fill-in. 

After learning about Davide’s New York nightlife background, working alongside famed promoter Daniel Nardicio (NYC/Fire Island), Jimmy approached him with the idea of starting a community event production company, to bring share-worthy experiences to the Hudson Valley.  After several collaboration meetings, Out Loud Hudson Valley was born, and began producing events in May, 2022. 

Powered by a growing list of community sponsors, partner venues, and a rolodex of agency contacts, Out Loud Hudson Valley is now poised to become the Hudson Valley’s leading source for live entertainment.  From exquisite drag shows and dance parties, to comedy productions and concerts, Out Loud Hudson Valley looks forward to producing interactive and inclusive events for people looking to get out and have fun in the Hudson Valley!
